Faculty of Dental Sciences, King George Medical University celebrated National Public Health Dentist Day

Lucknow.. Every year 19 June is celebrated as National Public Health Dentist Day. It aims to spread awareness among people about oral health or the ill effects of tobacco. It was honored by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Faculty of Dental Sciences, King George Medical University for 7 days (19-25 June) through various activities in which awareness was created at the PHC located in Sarojini Nagar about how to take care of your or your children's oral health during pregnancy.

Additionally, various competitions were held in the department in which slogans related to oral health, posters, banners, reels, and quizzes were organized. Along with this, at Babu Jag Jeevan Ram Railway Protection Force Academy, information was provided to the railway officers about the tobacco industry or ban or law. This program was made successful by the department's Dr. Vinay Kumar Gupta (Head), Dr. Gaurav Mishra (Professor), Dr. Sumit Kumar (Professor), and Dr. Khushboo Arif (Senior Resident), Dr. Sreeja, Dr. Aayushi, etc.
