NEW DELHI- Aluminium prices achieved a fresh lifetime high of ₹294.90 per kg in the futures trade on Friday. Speculators on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) built aggressive long positions as the December contract jumped over 3%, fueled by a persistent positive trend in the spot market.
Global supply deficits and production caps in China have significantly tightened the market. With the January contract scaling a peak of ₹297.20, analysts expect continued bullish momentum for industrial metals as green energy demand and infrastructure projects drive consumption across major global economies.
