Mathura. Grand opening of Akshay Patra's first community kitchen run The first community and 67th centralized kitchen of Akshaya Patra Foundation, an organization promoting the goals of sustainable development, was inaugurated on Sunday in Aajnokh village of Barsana region. Mrs. Hema Malini, presiding over the programme, &  said that this project run by women through Akshaya Patra will set a new record of women empowerment.
The program was inaugurated by popular MP of Mathura district Mrs. Hema Malini, Vice President of Brajteerth Vikas Parishad Shailjakant Mishra, Dainik Bhaskar chief Sanjay Aggarwal and senior litterateur Pradeep Pandit and Akshaya Patra Vice President Chanchalapati Das ji and National President and Trustee of Akshay Patra Foundation Mr. Bharatarshbha Das by lighting the island in front of Sri Sri Radha Vrindavan Chandra.
The special guest of the program Mr. Shailjakant Mishra said that Akshaya Patra is known all over India for its service work. He requested all the dignitaries present in the program to contribute in providing a new direction to the society by joining Akshay Patra.
Vice President of the organization Chanchalapati Das said that the 67th centralized kitchen built by Akshaya Patra is the first kitchen to be fully operated by women. There will be active participation of women from the local community go cook  the food in kitchen. The organization will provide hot, fresh and nutritious food to 10,000 students of 97 council schools from this kitchen.
On the other hand, National President and Trustee of the organization Bharatarshbha Das said that along with this kitchen, a community hall have also been constructed in Barsana, where training sessions will be organized for the staff and the surrounding communities. In this kitchen ETP has been constructed for the treatment of contaminated water. Keeping in mind the environmental protection, electric vehicles will use for diatribution. These vehicles will be used to collect cooked food from kitchen to school, raw material from local farmers and deliver their programs to various communities.
District Panchayat members RP Singh, Sanjay Singh, BJP Mahila Morcha President Mudita Sharma, BJP General Secretary Prem Shrotiya, Akshay Patra's Operation Head Sureshwar, Govind Dutt Das, Hansika Singh, Nidhi Singh and other dignitaries were   present in the programme..
