Lucknow. On the occasion of the launch of Aditya L1, a one-day program was organized by the Uttar Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, in which the members of the Uttar Pradesh Amateur Astronomers Club were shown the sun through two solar telescopes. Sunspots, prominences, solar flyers, and filaments were shown to the public.
Apart from this, live streaming of the successful launch of the Aditya L1 mission has also been done by the club. Programs were organized by the club's Harshavardhan, Sharad, Abhimanyu, Sankalp, Swapnil, Bharat, Arpan, Anurag, Shubhashish, Anas and Anshika. Anil Yadav, Director, Shiv Prasad, Secretary, Dr. Rajesh Gangwar, Joint Director, Pooja Yadav, Joint Director, Dr. D.K. Srivastava, Joint Director, Radhe Lal, Joint Director were also present. All the personnel of the Council of Science and Technology were present on this occasion and live streaming. About 100 students of National PG College, Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti University, Lucknow University, and 40 members of Uttar Pradesh Amateur Astronomers Club were present in the entire program.
