Workshop Organized : "Various Welfare Schemes of the Skill Development Department".

Lucknow : A workshop on various welfare schemes of the Skill Development Department was organized today at the Uttar Pradesh State Women's Commission under the chairmanship of Hon'ble Chairperson Dr. Babita Singh Chauhan, Uttar Pradesh State Women's Commission. The workshop was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Hon'ble Chairperson of the Commission Dr. Babita Singh Chauhan, Hon'ble Vice-Chairperson Mrs. Aparna Yadav, Mrs. Charu Chaudhary, Hon'ble Members of the Uttar Pradesh State Women's Commission and Ms. Priya Singh, PCS Additional Managing Director, Lucknow.

In the awareness programme, Ms. Priya Singh, PCS Additional Managing Director, provided complete information regarding Project Praveen, SSDF, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Rural Skill Scheme, Education and Scholarship, Business and Entrepreneurship, Skill Development, Sports and Culture, Employment, Empowerment, Housing and Shelter, Financial Services, Socio-Economic, Health and Welfare, Technology and Science etc. schemes and the Hon'ble officials stressed on providing maximum benefits of the various schemes related to the above to women/girls during the upcoming public hearing/awareness Chaupal in various districts of the state.

In the second session of the programme, a monthly review meeting of the Hon'ble officials of the Uttar Pradesh State Women's Commission was organised. In the monthly meeting, the Hon'ble Chairperson reviewed the women's public hearing/review meeting, inspection programme and nutrition panchayat programme organised earlier by the Commission officials in various districts of the state under Mission Shakti 5.0. In the meeting, various programmes conducted by the Commission in the past month were discussed and emphasis was laid on providing effective and quick benefits to the women of the state from the programmes organised by the Commission.
