National Unity Day Celebrated at North Central Railway Headquarters

Prayagraj : On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, General Manager, North Central Railway  Naresh Pal Singh, administered the “National Unity Day” pledge to all officers and employees present in the premises of the General Manager's office, Prayagraj. The pledge is as follows:

“I solemnly pledge that I will dedicate myself to preserving the unity, integrity, and security of the nation and also strive hard to spread this message among my fellow countrymen. I take this pledge in the spirit of unification of my country, which was made possible by the vision and actions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. I also solemnly resolve to ensure the internal security of my country.”

On this occasion, a Run for Unity was organized by the North Central Railway Sports Association and the Railway Protection Force under the leadership of the General Manager. The General Manager flagged off the Run for Unity. Players from North Central Railway, Railway Protection Force personnel, and other officers and employees also participated enthusiastically  in this run. The run started from the Sangam complex of the General Manager's office.

Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Balachandra Iyer, along with Principal Heads of Departments, other senior officers, and all headquarters employees were present on the occassion.
