Two heart surgeries successful in SRN hospital with modern technology

Prayagraj : Recently surgeries of two complex heart patients were successfully performed in the cardiology department of Swarooprani Nehru Hospital affiliated to Motilal Nehru Medical College. Both the patients are 22 year old youths residents of Soraon, Meja area. Both of them had serious problems of congenital heart defects ASD (Atrial Septal Defect) and VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect).

Both these surgeries were done by the team of Dr. Mohammad Shahid and Dr. Nikesh Mishra under the leadership of Dr. Abhishek Sachdeva. On this occasion, a device workshop was organized, in which surgeries were performed with utmost care with the help of latest cardiac devices. Both the patients improved rapidly after the operation and were discharged from the hospital in healthy condition after successful treatment.Dr. Abhishek Sachdeva said that these surgeries were very complex, but due to teamwork, modern technology and the facilities of the hospital, the results were very satisfactory. He said that the successful execution of this type of advanced heart surgery at Swaruprani Hospital shows that even in a city like Prayagraj world class treatment facilities are now available.
