Bandhan Mutual Fund Simplifies Precious Metal Investing with New Gold and Silver ETF FoFs

Lucknow : In a strategic move to broaden investor access to commodities, Bandhan Mutual Fund today announced the launch of the Bandhan Gold ETF Fund of Fund (FoF) and Bandhan Silver ETF Fund of Fund (FoF). These open-ended schemes are designed to offer a seamless, transparent, and cost-effective gateway for investors looking to include precious metals in their portfolios without the complexities of physical storage or the necessity of a demat account.

The New Fund Offers (NFOs) are scheduled to open today, January 12, 2026, and will remain available for subscription until January 20, 2026.

Traditionally, investing in gold and silver meant dealing with concerns over purity, making charges, and secure storage. While Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) solved many of these issues, they still required a demat account—a barrier for many retail investors. Bandhan’s new FoF structure effectively removes these hurdles. Investors can start their journey with a modest lump sum of ₹1,000 or opt for disciplined investing via Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) starting at just ₹100.
