Lucknow. The child who used to speak in the school prayer meeting and write poetic lines on the notice board every day, today set out on the journey of becoming a litterateur after years. Dr. Satyawan Saurabh, a resident of village Barwa in Bhiwani district, who has contributed to the field of poetry, has been selected from the entire country for the Pandit Pratap Narayan Mishra Young Litterateur Award for his best writing in the poetry genre. Budding litterateur Dr. Satyavan Saurabh of village Barwa in Bhiwani district of Haryana will be given the Pandit Pratap Narayan Mishra Smriti Yuva Sahitya Samman - 2023 award by Bhaurao Deoras Seva Trust, Lucknow. On this occasion, Dr Saurabh will be given a memento, Sharda statue, shawl, citation, and a check of Rs 25000.

Bhaurao Deoras Seva Trust has been honoring six litterateurs with the Pt. Pratap Narayan Mishra Young Litterateur Award for the last 29 years. Dr. Saurabh is the only litterateur from Haryana. The Trust honors and rewards writers up to 40 years of age for their original creativity. This time Dr. Satyavan Saurabh of Haryana will be awarded in the poetry genre.

Every litterateur will be honored with a sum of Rs 25,000 along with a Saraswati statue, Bodh Chitra Swastika of the Trust, and literature of Pandit Pratap Narayan Mishra. Trust coordinator Dr. Vijay Kumar Karan said that Haryana's young litterateur Dr. Satyavan Saurabh has been given this award for his Doha collection 'Titli Hai Khamosh'.

The Joint Secretary of the Trust said that this award given annually will be given to the young litterateurs of the country this year. Dr. Satyavan Saurabh is currently one of the emerging litterateurs of Haryana. He is famous across the country for daily editorial writing and his articles are published every day in thousands of newspapers in the country and abroad in different languages. Till now, his 4 books Yaadein, Kudrat Ki Peer, Pariyon Se Samvad, and Titli Hai Khamosh, all in Hindi language and 'Issues and Pain' in English language have been published.

The fame of Dr. Satyavan Saurabh's couplets and poems has spread not only in the country but also abroad. Satyavan Saurabh's couplets are published extensively in magazines of Hindi-loving countries like Iran, Fiji, Suriname, and Mauritius. Due to the effect of Saurabh's couplets being in two lines, they are quickly remembered and the striking power is such that it has spoken the words of someone's heart. Dr. Satyavan Saurabh is such a writer/poet of the country whose first book came in the form of a poetry collection named Yaadein while studying in class 10th and since then this beautiful journey has continued and is making the country and abroad fragrant with his Saurabh.
