First phase of intensive Mission Indradhanush Abhiyan will run from August 7 to 12 in the district

Rae Bareli - Intensive Mission Indradhanush Abhiyan (IMI) 5.0 will be run in three phases in the district. Its first phase will be conducted from 7 to 12 August, second from 11 September to 16 September and third phase from 9 October to 14 October. In the same order, a press conference was held at the office of the Chief Medical Officer on Friday.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Virender Singh said that under the IMI 5.0 campaign, children between zero and five years of age and pregnant women, who miss out on regular vaccination due to some reasons, are vaccinated. All the preparations for this campaign have been completed

The microplan is ready District Immunization Officer Dr. Arun Kumar Verma said that there are a total of 3,16,220 children from zero to five years of age in Janapada, in which the number of children who have received diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, hepatitis B and influenza type B (Penta-1) vaccine is 2815, Penta-2 vaccine.

The number of children is 2362 and the number of children due to penta-3 vaccine is 2495. Along with this, the number of children who missed the first dose of Measles-Rubella (MR) is 2900 and the number of children who missed the second dose is 2530. Apart from this, the number of pregnant women due to tetanus and adult diphtheria (TD) vaccine is 3376. This campaign will be conducted through 2735 ASHA workers and 379 ANMs in the district.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr. Radhakrishnan, District Health Education and Information Officer DS Asthana, Anjali Singh, UNICEF DMC Vandana Tripathi, UNICEF BMC Sahana Ameer and media brothers and staff of Chief Medical Officer office were present.
