Kanpur. On the basis of his lion roar, the enemy soldiers would stop at a distance and could not muster the courage to move ahead. If they moved ahead with courage, his sword, horse Chetak, elephant Ram Prasad would finish them off.

The birth anniversary of such a brave king of Mewar, Maharana Pratap, in front of whom even the strongest and most unrighteous were afraid to come in front of, was celebrated at Trilok Plaza near Gurudev Palace under the aegis of Vinayakpur Seva Samiti.

In the program, the speakers narrated the heroic tale of the mighty, mighty Rana Pratap, the eldest son of King Uday Singh II and Queen Jayavanta Bai, born in Mewar on 9 May 1540.

He said that he was such a son of Mother India who preferred to eat roti of grass by sacrificing all the luxuries for the sake of his country and religion, but did not accept to bow his head in front of the unrighteous tyrant Akbar. Akbar could not capture him even after trying for thirty years.

Today every mother of India wishes that a Maharana Pratap should be born from her womb too, who will fight to any extent for the country's honour, pride, pride, self-respect.

The speakers said that Maharana Pratap, the lion of Bharat Mata Rajasthan Chittorgarh, who destroyed enemies with his sword and trampled the chests of enemies with the hooves of his Chetak, has given a message to the coming generation.

He said that the pride and honour of any person is his biggest asset and one should go to any extent to protect it. The person who always performs his duties for the welfare of the country and religion, people remember him for ages.

In between the poems, people kept welcoming both the poets with applause. At the end of the program, all the people who had come on the birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap bowed their heads in front of the picture of Maharana Pratap and decided to follow the path shown by him.
