Yoga Nidra Session Brings Peace and Positivity to Kanpur
A successful Yoga Nidra session was held in Kanpur, part of a global event promoting mental and physical well-being.

The session was part of a remarkable global event, simultaneously held in over 50 cities across more than six countries. This unique, synchronized approach highlighted the shared human need for peace and well-being. The core purpose of the Yoga Nidra technique, as emphasized at the event, is the comprehensive development of individuals on a spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional level.
The session began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness with knowledge. This was followed by a documentary film on the Rishi Chaitanya Ashram, which detailed its visionary objectives and the significant contributions of Gurumaa to society. The practical session of Yoga Nidra then commenced, allowing participants to experience the deep relaxation and therapeutic benefits firsthand.
During the session, the participants were blessed with a live appearance by Gurumaa, who provided guidance and blessings, further enriching the experience. The organizers highlighted the many physical and mental benefits of Yoga Nidra, including control over high blood pressure, reduced cholesterol, and relief from insomnia, stress, and heart disease. For students, the method is considered a boon, as it significantly enhances both comprehension and memory power.
The program concluded with the distribution of prasad and a special memento—a plant—given to each participant as a symbol of growth and life. The success of the event was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the Rishi Chaitanya Vision, Kanpur team, including Umesh Bhasin, Raghunath Singh, Ankush Bhasin, Ravendra Singh Chauhan, Om Prakash Mehrotra, Paras Bhatia, Harshit Chawla, Avijit Dubey, Neha Gupta, and Anju Bhatija, among others. This session served as a powerful reminder of how ancient practices can offer modern solutions to our most pressing health challenges, fostering a sense of peace and community on a global scale.
