Prayagraj Railway Division Tests Employees’ Integrity Awareness With Vigilance Quiz and Essay Contest

Prayagraj : As part of Vigilance Awareness Week-2026, the Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway organised a quiz and essay competition on October 30, 2026, at the auditorium hall of the divisional office. The event aimed to strengthen a culture of honesty, transparency and accountability among railway staff.

Held under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Rajnish Agrawal, the competition was conducted by the Personnel Department and supervised by Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Vaibhav Kumar Gupta. Employees from various branches took part with enthusiasm, demonstrating their knowledge, logical thinking and creative expression.

The quiz round assessed participants’ general awareness, understanding of vigilance rules and provisions, transparency in working procedures, and knowledge of anti-corruption measures. In the essay round, contestants wrote on themes such as vigilance, integrity, ethical conduct and building a corruption-free work culture, presenting their views in a thoughtful manner.

On the occasion, speakers stressed that the message of Vigilance Awareness Week must reach every level of the organisation. They urged employees to adopt integrity and impartiality in their day-to-day duties, noting that public trust in the railways depends on fair and transparent functioning at every level.

Officials said that such activities help sensitise staff to their ethical responsibilities and encourage them to remain alert against malpractice. By involving employees directly through competitions, the division hopes to make vigilance a shared responsibility rather than a mere formality observed once a year.

The Prayagraj Division said it will continue organising similar awareness programmes to reinforce ethical values among its workforce. The administration reiterated its commitment to building a transparent, accountable and corruption-free working environment across the railway system, in line with the larger goals of Vigilance Awareness Week.
