Ayodhya : In a significant move toward advanced fuel solutions, Jio-bp showcased its breakthrough ACTIVE Technology petrol at India Energy Week 2026. The event saw a high-profile visit from Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, who inspected the Jio-bp pavilion where the innovative fuel technology was on display.

Engine Health Meets Economic Efficiency The ACTIVE technology petrol is specifically engineered to clean critical engine components, restoring and protecting performance. According to Jio-bp, this fuel allows drivers to cover up to 100 kilometers of additional distance annually compared to standard petrol—all without any premium price tag.

Chairman Sarthak Behuria noted that Indian motorists prioritize visible daily benefits such as smoother engine operation, reliable performance, and reduced maintenance. "Our ACTIVE technology removes harmful deposits while you drive, making high-performance engine cleaning a standard feature for everyone," he stated.

Proven by Science and Testing To demonstrate the fuel's efficacy, Jio-bp CEO Akshay Vadhwa presented a comparative study using two motorcycles—one fueled by ACTIVE technology and the other by regular petrol.

Imaging: Modern borescope imaging clearly showcased the cleaning power of the new fuel chemistry.

Rigorous Testing: Developed over five years, the fuel underwent a 4,000 km rigorous trial on the Coimbatore test track, proving its ability to enhance fuel efficiency and lower upkeep costs.

Added Value for Consumers Beyond the fuel benefits, Jio-bp is enhancing the customer experience through the recently launched Jio-bp Mobility$ Credit Card and various loyalty rewards. This initiative aims to make advanced fuel technology accessible to the masses, ensuring a smoother and more cost-effective commute for millions of Indian drivers.
