Prof. Neelam Saran Gaur Honored at Kritagyata Mahotsav
SHUATS hosts Kritagyata Mahotsav celebrating literature, tribal art, and cultural diversity in Prayagraj.
Prayagraj: SHUATS honored renowned litterateur Prof. Neelam Saran Gaur during the ongoing Kritagyata Mahotsav. The event began with a prayer led by the University Chaplain, followed by Prof. Gaur reading excerpts from her acclaimed works. Expressing her thoughts, she shared that "writing is a solitary journey, where much remains hidden." The chief guest and other dignitaries praised her literary contributions and wished her continued success.
The festival also featured various cultural events, including tribal face painting, a Rangoli competition, and a grand musical evening. Coordinated by Dr. Ashish Alexander and Dr. Priyanka Singh, the competitions showcased North Eastern tribal traditions. The day concluded with musical performances by bands Ibadat and Straight to Soul, celebrating Sam Higginbottom’s legacy. The festival, highlighting art, literature, and cultural heritage, will conclude on October 27.
