Ambedkar Nagar:The Baroda RSETI, operated by the Bank of Baroda, has launched a free sanitary pad manufacturing program in Tikampara, under the Katehari block. This 13-day free sanitary pad training aims to empower women by providing essential skills in sanitary pad production. The initiative was inaugurated by Chief Guest Kamlesh Bhaskar, the Lead District Manager, and Rajesh Kumar, the Institute Director, through a ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The program seeks to educate rural women about the importance of using sanitary pads, addressing health risks of poor menstrual hygiene.

During the training, participants will receive comprehensive knowledge about the manufacturing process of sanitary pads at minimal costs. Kamlesh Bhaskar emphasized the need to dispel the stigma surrounding menstrual hygiene, urging women to embrace these products for better health. This women empowerment training not only promotes menstrual hygiene education but also creates self-reliance for women through employment opportunities in sanitary pad production. Rajesh Kumar highlighted the significant potential for women to achieve financial independence by acquiring these skills, making a positive impact on their lives and communities.
