Samsung Awards ₹30 Lakh to Innovation Campus Toppers; Agri-AI Model Steals the Spotlight

Lucknokw : In a major boost to India's grassroots tech talent, Samsung India has felicitated 30 exceptional students under its flagship CSR initiative, the 'Samsung Innovation Campus' (SIC). Each topper from the 2025 cohort was awarded a cash prize of ₹1 lakh for mastering future-ready domains: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Coding & Programming, Big Data, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

The winners—comprising four national champions, 26 state-level toppers, and one social media trailblazer—were selected from a massive pool of 20,000 trained students. Hailing from 10 different states, these achievers highlight a significant shift: high-caliber tech talent is rapidly emerging outside of India's traditional metropolitan tech hubs.

The toppers were honored at the Samsung India headquarters in Gurugram by JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia. Addressing the cohort, Park emphasized that AI and data literacy are no longer future requirements but essential tools for today. He encouraged the students to maintain curiosity and resilience, describing them not just as students, but as the future engineers, creators, and CEOs of the world.

The real-world impact of the program was vividly demonstrated by individual success stories. Aishwarya Sanjay, a postgraduate student in Agricultural Extension Education from Karnataka, seamlessly merged technology with farming. Using her newly acquired skills, she developed an innovative AI-driven model designed to optimize market access for farmers through community-supported agriculture.

Aligned closely with the government's 'Skill India' and 'Digital India' visions, the program underscores Samsung’s commitment to fostering a digitally empowered, self-reliant 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' by collaborating with local skilling institutions.
