Review meeting regarding disposal of complaint application received in connection with Mission Shakti campaign

21-02-2024. Under the direction of District Superintendent of Police Ambedkar Nagar, Women Help Cell (1090), Women Help Desk In-charge Shivangi Tripathi along with the personnel appointed at the Women Help Desk established at all the police stations of the district as part of the Mission Shakti campaign, at the Women and Child Protection Organization and the help desk.

A review meeting was organized regarding the complaint applications received as well as the disposal of complaint applications received from the complaint cell. During the seminar, efforts were made to improve the functioning of women help desk workers and to feed the received applications on the SSO portal. Necessary guidelines were given regarding the POSH Act and information was given regarding “Word Social Justice Day” and instructions were given to paste informative posters at the help desk office for free legal aid to the victims of gender violence. 

The problems of the help desk workers were also heard and the concerned were informed about their solution. Shivangi Tripathi said that safe and empowered women are the basis of a prosperous society. It is our responsibility to ensure the safety, dignity and empowerment of every woman.

We are committed to women empowerment. It is our priority that the women in the district should become aware and come forward only then the evils of the society can be dealt with. They should remain free from fear for the honor and safety of women and girls and should not hide the crimes committed against them and should not be affected by the family and local police administration or Make people aware about registering complaints on the helpline number.
