Lucknow : The prestigious Frank Anthony Memorial All India Inter-School Debate Competition 2025 (Category I, Stage I, Pool A7) was held with great enthusiasm across two branches of Lucknow Public College (LPC) — Sahara States, Jankipuram, and A-Block, Rajajipuram.

At the Sahara States branch, teams from 13 reputed schools across the region took part in an intense battle of intellect, wit, and oratory excellence. Satyarth Singh and Poorvi Saxena of Gurukul Academy emerged as the champions of the debate. Meanwhile, the runner-up team comprised Aradhya Saxena and Sara Azeem representing LPC A-Block, Rajajipuram. Satyarth Singh was also honored with the title of Best Speaker, standing out for his clarity, argumentation, and delivery.

The jury at this venue included distinguished educators Dr. Charu Rawat, Monika Anand, and Preeti M. Shah, who commended the students for their confidence, preparedness, and ability to present compelling arguments.

Simultaneously, at the Rajajipuram A-Block branch, 15 teams from different schools showcased their debating prowess. The team from Seth A.R. Jaipuria School, Kanpur was declared the winner, after a tough competition. The event was judged by Shruti Kesarwani, Dr. Deepali Mark, and Harpreet Kaur, all of whom brought their academic and public speaking experience to ensure fair and insightful evaluation.

The debate competition provided students a dynamic platform to enhance their logical reasoning, public speaking, and critical thinking skills. It also encouraged healthy competition, respectful dialogue, and the art of expressing opinions in a structured manner.

The Frank Anthony Memorial Debate, held annually under the aegis of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), remains one of the most respected debate platforms in the country. Through events like these, young debaters not only hone their communication skills but also build the confidence required for leadership and civic engagement.

Both venues witnessed vibrant participation, enthusiastic audiences, and a celebration of intellectual discourse among India's budding thinkers.
