KESCo MD Addresses Power Concerns of Entrepreneurs at Special Consumer Camp in Kanpur

Kanpur : In a proactive initiative to address electricity-related concerns faced by the city’s industrial community, the Kanpur Electricity Supply Company (KESCo) organized a dedicated Consumer Power Solution Camp at the Copo State industrial area in Dada Nagar. The camp was aimed specifically at resolving power issues faced by entrepreneurs and local business owners.

KESCo Managing Director Samuel Paul N personally attended the camp, interacting directly with business owners and stakeholders. During the session, he listened attentively to their problems and gave clear assurance that all electricity-related issues will be resolved swiftly to ensure smooth business operations without power-related disruptions.

The event began with a warm welcome to the MD by Industrial Association President Vijay Kapoor, who greeted him with a traditional stole. Speaking on the occasion, the MD reiterated KESCo’s commitment to facilitating seamless power supply for entrepreneurs and emphasized that the utility company is working on upgrading infrastructure and speeding up complaint resolution processes.

Apart from the grievance redressal, the event also promoted environmental responsibility. In a symbolic gesture, MD Samuel Paul N participated in a tree plantation drive, urging all attendees and the wider community to contribute to the environment. "Every citizen should plant trees," he said, emphasizing the importance of reviving the green revolution and ensuring a healthier ecosystem.

The camp also saw participation from special guest Director Rakesh Varshney, who joined in the tree plantation activity, showing support for KESCo’s dual goals of resolving electricity issues and fostering sustainability.

President Vijay Kapoor shared that over 100 complaints were successfully resolved during the camp. He praised the KESCo team for their responsiveness and active participation in the grievance resolution process. Kapoor added that such direct interactions between the power utility and the business community not only build trust but also streamline future communication and cooperation.

The event witnessed the presence of several key individuals from the local business and civic community, including Rajesh Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Dhananjay Singh, Vikas Verma, Akhilesh Kumar, Manish Kumar, Satpal Singh, Sunil Kumar, Anil Ahuja, Vivek, Pankaj Kumar, and Himanshu Sahu, all of whom appreciated the company’s outreach efforts.

This initiative by KESCo has been welcomed by the entrepreneurial community as a constructive step toward bridging the communication gap between service providers and users. With commitments made to improve service quality and power reliability, KESCo aims to further strengthen its role as a dependable partner in Kanpur’s industrial growth.
