Prayagraj 15.50 Lakh People Receive 'Ayushman' Cards
Dr. Rajesh Singh, the nodal officer for Ayushman, stated that eligible beneficiaries should not wait for the card to be issued when they become ill, but should contact ASHA, Ayushman Mitra, and Panchayat Assistant to obtain an Ayushman card. So far, Rs. 1.45 crore has been disbursed towards the treatment expenses of patients under the Ayushman Scheme. The process for disbursing approximately Rs. 10 crore is underway.
The Ayushman panel includes 155 government and private hospitals in the district. Additionally, two neuro and cardiology hospitals will soon be included. Under the Ayushman scheme, most people are getting treatment in SRN, Bailey, Colvin, Dufferin, Kamala Nehru, United Medicity, Narayan Swaroop and Shakuntala hospitals.
