Joint Police Squad Arrests Cruel Chain Snatchers in Lucknow
A Joint Police Squad in Lucknow arrested two chain snatchers, recovering a stolen chain and motorcycle.
Lucknow: A Joint Police Squad from the Crime Surveillance Team (DCP North) and Gudamba Police Station arrested two cruel chain snatchers in Lucknow. The criminals had stolen a chain from an Old woman during her morning walk using a stolen motorcycle, both of which were recovered during the arrest.
In line with Lucknow Police Commissioner Amarendra K Sengar's crime control campaign, a joint police squad, led by Joint Commissioner Akash Kulhari, DCP North Jitendra Kumar Dubey, and Additional DCP North Anindya Vikram Singh, successfully apprehended two chain snatchers.
The investigation, managed by Inspector Nitish Kumar Srivastava and Surveillance Crime Team in-charge Vishwanath Pratap Singh, quickly identified the suspects, Nadeem alias Firoz and Mohd. Asif Khan. They confessed to using a stolen motorcycle for their chain-snatching activities. The swift action of the Lucknow police squad resulted in the capture of these criminals, and legal proceedings are now underway.
