PM Modi Forecasts Historic 'Election Hat-Trick' During Ganga Expressway Launch in Hardoi

Hardoi : Asserting a wave of political dominance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday predicted a "historic hat-trick" for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) across five poll-bound states. Speaking at a high-octane rally in Hardoi, following the inauguration of the ambitious Ganga Expressway, the Prime Minister linked the upcoming May 4 election results to the momentum of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India).

The Prime Minister began his address by dedicating the Ganga Expressway to the people, describing the corridor between Meerut and Prayagraj as a "blessing of Maa Ganga." He emphasized that the infrastructure project would serve as a vital lifeline for the state, drastically reducing travel time and boosting regional commerce.

"This expressway is not just a road; it is a gateway to prosperity that will connect hearts and markets alike," Modi stated, framing the project as a testament to the "double-engine" government’s commitment to rapid industrialization.

Turning his attention to the ongoing electoral battles, PM Modi lauded the voters of West Bengal for participating in the second phase of polling with unprecedented zeal. He noted that the sight of long queues at booths—free from the "atmosphere of fear" that defined previous decades—was a victory for the Indian Constitution.

"Reports from Bengal show a fearless participation that was unimaginable six or seven decades ago," the PM remarked. "I thank the people of Bengal for being vigilant about their rights. This enthusiasm is a virtuous symbol of our strengthening democracy."

Buoyed by recent successes in Bihar and Gujarat, the Prime Minister expressed absolute confidence in the BJP’s performance in the current five-state election cycle.

"The results on May 4 will complete a historic hat-trick of victories," he declared. "These wins will not just be political milestones; they will infuse new energy into the pace of the country’s development and reinforce our resolve for a developed nation by 2047."

The Prime Minister saved his sharpest barbs for the opposition, specifically targeting the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress. He accused them of being "anti-development" and "anti-women," citing their recent parliamentary stance on the Nari Shakti Vandan Amendment.

"The country has seen the true face of the SP and Congress," Modi said. "Our government introduced an amendment to ensure women’s reservation in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies by 2029. Yet, the Samajwadi Party chose to vote against it. They want to push Uttar Pradesh back into an era of fragmentation and unfair resource distribution."

He concluded by urging the public to reject "divisive politics" and choose the path of continuous progress, framing the BJP as the only force capable of ensuring safety and representation for women in the corridors of power.
