District magistrate reviews banking schemes to enhance loan accessibility for residents in Ambedkar Nagar.
Ambedkar Nagar: In a significant meeting chaired by District Magistrate Avinash Singh, the District Level Advisory Committee and the District Level Review Committee convened at the Collectorate auditorium in Ambedkar Nagar. The meeting focused on a comprehensive review of various banking schemes and government initiatives aimed at improving loan accessibility for residents.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate emphasized the need for banks with a credit-deposit (CD) ratio below 40% to develop action plans to achieve their targets. He also addressed the challenges faced by citizens in obtaining loans and instructed officials to streamline the loan application process. Regular financial literacy camps were proposed to educate the public about available financial services and programs.
