District Magistrate Reviews Key Progress of Schemes

Ambedkar Nagar:  A review meeting chaired by District Magistrate Avinash Singh was held at the Collectorate Auditorium, Ambedkar Nagar, focusing on the progress of various schemes under the Honorable Chief Minister's Dashboard. DM Singh directed officials to expedite the construction of individual toilets under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) Phase-2. He emphasized the timely completion of projects and the effective utilization of resources for public welfare initiatives across the district.

During the meeting, Singh closely reviewed fund utilization under the 15th Finance Commission across several blocks, including Bhiti, Katehari, and Tanda. He interacted directly with the Panchayat secretaries of underperforming Gram Panchayats, urging them to collaborate with local authorities for faster implementation of development projects like drainage and road paving. Key officials, including the District Panchayat Raj Officer and Block Development Officers, were also present.
