Study Hall College Launches Career Counseling Series to Empower Students' Future
Study Hall College Lucknow launches its first interactive career counseling session to bridge academic learning and industry expectations.

The inaugural session took place at the college campus and witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students across various disciplines. This counseling series represents a significant step in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry demands, ensuring students are well-prepared to face real-world professional challenges.
Prashant Kumar, Vice President – Human Resources at Core Mind Business Solutions, graced the occasion as a key speaker. Drawing from his vast experience in human resources and corporate leadership, Kumar engaged directly with students, offering valuable insights on career planning, professional development, and strategies for achieving success in today’s competitive world.
Speaking to the gathering, Kumar emphasized the importance of self-awareness and mentorship in shaping one's career. “Students must combine their personal strengths with their mentors’ advice to make informed career choices,” he said. “Understanding your interests, recognizing opportunities, and developing the right skill sets are crucial in today’s fast-evolving job market.”
Adding to the conversation, Study Hall College’s Director Dr. Himanshu Singh highlighted the importance of SWOT analysis—evaluating one’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats—as a vital tool for career decision-making. “Self-assessment allows students to make conscious, well-thought-out decisions, aligning their aspirations with realistic goals,” Dr. Singh explained. He also reiterated the college's vision of creating an inclusive educational environment where students not only excel academically but also develop a strong sense of social responsibility.
Study Hall College, affiliated with Lucknow University, offers a diverse range of undergraduate programs including Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (BA-JMC), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). The newly launched career counseling series is expected to continue as a regular feature, introducing students to various industry leaders, professionals, and career experts. These interactive sessions will serve as a platform for students to clarify their doubts, explore multiple career paths, and receive guidance tailored to their individual aspirations.
