Kanpur School Inspires Clean India Mission with Vibrant Annual Show

Kanpur : The annual cultural extravaganza at Dr. P.R. Vasan Public School in Kanpur transcended mere entertainment, evolving into a platform for vital social awareness. Through a spectacular and colorful program, students skillfully delivered the message of the Swachh Bharat Mission, urging attendees towards cleanliness and civic responsibility.

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Kidwai Nagar MLA Mahesh Trivedi. Deeply impressed by the diverse cultural presentations, the MLA was moved by the students’ talent. He praised the school for organizing such events, emphasizing that these platforms are essential for nurturing and bringing forth the hidden potential and creativity within children.

A highlight of the evening was the powerful and mesmerizing performance of the Shiv Tandav Stotram, which garnered enthusiastic applause. Furthermore, students from P.G. class to Class 10 passionately participated in presentations centered on themes integral to national interest.

School Coordinator Smt. Anjali Shukla noted that a core focus of the program was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission. Students crafted beautiful art and dramatic pieces illustrating the concept of a Plastic-Free India, effectively raising awareness among parents and guardians—an effort she described as highly commendable.
