Phulpur MLA Deepak Patel Inaugurates Dr. Lal Pathology Lab in Rural Prayagraj

Prayagraj :  In a significant step toward improving rural healthcare accessibility, Phulpur MLA Deepak Patel inaugurated a new branch of Dr. Lal Pathology Lab on Sunday at Narsirpur village in the Sarai Inayat region of Prayagraj district. The event was marked by a warm reception and enthusiastic participation from local residents and community leaders.

Before the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, the lab’s proprietor Rahul Kumar welcomed MLA Deepak Patel with a traditional shawl and floral bouquet, expressing gratitude for his presence and support. The ceremony signified not just the opening of a medical diagnostic facility but also a push toward equitable healthcare for rural communities.

Speaking at the occasion, MLA Deepak Patel highlighted the importance of decentralized health services in remote areas. “Opening a pathology lab in a rural region like Narsirpur means that people no longer need to travel to the city for basic medical tests. Quality diagnostics will now be available closer to home, saving time, money, and effort for residents,” he said.

He emphasized that the government and local leadership are committed to strengthening healthcare infrastructure at the grassroots level. “This is not just a lab; it's a lifeline for early detection and better treatment outcomes. Healthcare facilities like this will uplift the standard of living and reduce urban dependency,” he added.

The event was attended by several prominent personalities including Arun Mishra 'Pintu', former District President of BJP Yuva Morcha (Ganga Paar), and Umesh Tiwari, among others. The presence of political and community leaders added significance to the inauguration, reflecting the collaborative effort required to improve healthcare in underserved areas.

Lab proprietor Rahul Kumar expressed his vision for the center, stating, “Our goal is to provide reliable and affordable diagnostic services to the rural population. We will ensure high-quality standards and timely reporting, keeping patient welfare our top priority.”

The newly inaugurated lab is expected to cater to dozens of surrounding villages, offering tests ranging from routine blood work to more specialized diagnostics. The lab is equipped with modern tools and trained technicians to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
