Liquor worth Rs 15 lakhs was being smuggled hidden in a container

Mathura. During checking, Chhata police caught liquor worth about Rs 15 lakhs being smuggled hidden among the goods in a container on Delhi Agra National Highway. Police has also arrested two interstate smugglers. 210 boxes of liquor were found inside the Tata container.

During checking on NH 19 on Sunday, two interstate smugglers were arrested with 210 packets of illegal English liquor (total 1890 liters) and a vehicle (Tata container).

Further legal action is being taken against the accused Ravi son of Balu Singh, Dharmendra son of Girdhari Lal, residents of Patpala Maksi Road, Police Station Pavasa, District Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
