IFFCO Phoolpur Celebrates Hindi Diwas, Emphasizing Language as a Unifying Force

Prayagraj : IFFCO Fulpur recently inaugurated its Hindi Week celebration at the training center auditorium, with senior officials and employees gathering to honor the national language. The event, which kicked off the week-long festivities, was a testament to the organization's commitment to promoting and preserving Hindi. The overarching theme of the celebration was the role of Hindi as a unifying force that connects all Indians.

The ceremony began with a welcome address by Sanjay Kudeshia, Senior Executive Director (Unit Head), who highlighted the historical significance of Hindi. He reminded the audience that the Constituent Assembly of India officially declared Hindi as the official language on September 14, 1949. He also mentioned the first World Hindi Conference, held in Nagpur on January 10, 1975, which was organized to promote the language globally. Kudeshia's message was clear: "Our identity is derived from the Hindi language, and it is a language that connects all countrymen."

Echoing this sentiment, Sanjay Bhandari, General Manager of Production, spoke about the rich literary heritage of Hindi. He proudly stated, "This is the language that has given us gems like Tulsidas, Surdas, Kabir Das, and Premchand. It is our identity, and we should be proud of our mother tongue." His words resonated with the audience, reminding them of the cultural and historical depth embedded within the language.

P.K. Singh, General Manager of Maintenance, encouraged the employees to use Hindi more frequently in their daily work and personal lives. He stressed the importance of promoting its usage to ensure its continued relevance and growth. His call to action was supported by Anil Kumar Gupta, the Convener of the Hindi Committee, who noted that Hindi Diwas is a day to embrace the glory of the Hindi language. Gupta urged everyone to make an effort to use Hindi in all fields, emphasizing the collective responsibility to help Hindi evolve into a global language.

The inauguration was followed by various events designed to engage employees and celebrate the language. An essay and quiz competition was held, seeing a large number of IFFCO staff participate with great enthusiasm. The competitions provided a platform for employees to showcase their knowledge and creative expression in Hindi, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared pride.

The event was smoothly conducted by Hemlata Sizoria, and a large number of IFFCO employees and senior officials were present, including P.K. Patel, Ratnesh Kumar, Arun Kumar, Arvind Kumar, P.K. Tripathi, and Shambhu Shekhar. The celebration at IFFCO Fulpur serves as a great example of corporate efforts to promote national language and culture, reinforcing that while we may speak different languages, Hindi can act as a bridge, uniting us all.
