Prayagraj: To mark Environment Week 2025, IFFCO’s Phulpur unit hosted a vibrant and inspiring painting competition for students from nursery to class five and above. The initiative aimed to instill environmental consciousness among children at an early age while encouraging their creative expression around the theme of nature.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of students, especially from Ghiyanagar, who showcased their concern for the planet through colorful and imaginative artworks. The themes illustrated by the children included “Plant Trees, Save Earth,” “Clean Environment,” “Green Earth,” and “Water is Life,” highlighting their understanding of key environmental issues.

Each artwork reflected the children’s deep emotional connection with nature, and the audience was left mesmerized by the creativity, sincerity, and vibrancy of the young artists. Their work sent a strong and hopeful message — the seeds of environmental protection are best sown in childhood.

Addressing the gathering, Sanjay Vaishya, Executive Director (Technical) at IFCO Phulpur, remarked, “The seeds of environmental protection should be sown in childhood. The imagination of today’s children reflects a clean, green, and beautiful future. IFFCO will continue to support and promote such initiatives that foster awareness and responsibility among young minds.”

The competition was not only a platform for artistic expression but also an educational step toward developing a sustainable mindset among the upcoming generation. Through brushstrokes and colors, the students envisioned a future that values natural resources and works toward their conservation.

The event was graced by several IFCO officials and education facilitators, including Umesh Kumar (Senior Manager, Environment), Manoj Kumar (Manager, Environment), Vivek Yadav, Suresh Kumar Yadav, and art teacher Preeti Gupta, all of whom encouraged the children and appreciated their efforts.

The painting competition served as a reminder that environmental stewardship starts young and can be deeply rooted in values imparted during formative years. IFFCO Phulpur’s dedication to environmental education and community engagement was evident through this well-executed and impactful event.

With such awareness-driven initiatives, IFCO continues to lead by example, proving that the journey to a sustainable future begins with the smallest hands and the brightest imaginations.
