Ceremony for a World-Class Cancer Hospital and Bone Marrow Transplant Center

Kanpur : The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), in collaboration with the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), performed the groundbreaking ceremony for a state-of-the-art G+11-story cancer hospital and bone marrow transplant center in Navi Mumbai as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The project will be built over an area of 2.4 lakh square feet and will be one of the largest medical centers in the country.
The new hospital will serve approximately 1.3 lakh outpatients annually and will include a 60-bed bone marrow transplant center with a capacity to perform over 600 life-saving surgeries per year. The total cost of the project is estimated at approximately ₹380 crore and will be constructed by Larsen & Toubro (L&T).

Given the rise in cancer cases and the need for affordable medical facilities, NSE has taken a major step towards strengthening the country's healthcare infrastructure through this important project. ACTREC, established by the Tata Memorial Centre, has long provided cancer treatment to economically disadvantaged patients at very low cost or free of cost.

This new hospital will provide general and super-specialty services to cancer patients, providing them with better access to healthcare. Implemented through the NSE Foundation, this initiative aims not only to make cancer treatment available at affordable prices but also to expand healthcare services to all sections of society.
