Journalism Club Inaugurated at CSJMU, Kanpur: A Call for Responsible Reporting

Kanpur: In a significant development for aspiring journalists, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) Kanpur inaugurated its in-house production, 'Pratap The Journalism Club.' The event, graced by the university's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sudhir Awasthi, underscored the crucial role of journalistic responsibility and the challenges faced by media professionals in the contemporary landscape.
Prof. Awasthi emphasized that while journalism has evolved significantly since its inception, the core values of ethical reporting remain unchanged. He urged students to focus on honing their language skills and to contribute to the betterment of society through their work. Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav, the university's Registrar, highlighted the Department of Journalism's remarkable achievements and encouraged students to be prepared for the challenges of the future.
