Study Hall Center for Learning Holds Heartwarming Convocation for NIOS Students
Study Hall Center for Learning celebrates NIOS student achievements with joy, inclusive values, and stories of resilience and second chances.

Lucknow : With joy, pride, and an outpouring of emotions, the Study Hall Center for Learning held its annual Convocation Ceremony in Lucknow to celebrate the achievements of students who successfully completed their Class 10 and 12 board examinations under the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). The event shone a spotlight on perseverance, personal growth, and the power of inclusive education.
Bulbul Godiyal, Senior Advocate at the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Former Additional Advocate General of Uttar Pradesh, was the Chief Guest at the ceremony. Her presence brought gravitas to a gathering full of heartfelt moments and emotional pride.
The event commenced with a grand academic procession, setting the tone for a formal yet deeply personal celebration. Dr. Pratima Srivastava, Principal of the Center for Learning, welcomed students and guests, reminding everyone of the powerful journeys these students had taken.
“This is not just a convocation—it is a celebration of resilience, of young minds who dared to dream again,” said Dr. Srivastava. “We are honored to be a safe and nurturing space for learners who needed a second chance and found their path here.”
The founder and CEO of Study Hall Educational Foundation, Dr. Urvashi Sahni, delivered a keynote address that encapsulated the spirit of the occasion. “No two children learn the same way,” she noted. “That is why our approach is rooted in flexibility, empathy, and support. At the Center for Learning, we don’t just educate — we embrace every student’s unique journey.”
The convocation featured soulful musical performances by students, adding a celebratory rhythm to the ceremony. The emotional high point of the event was the felicitation of graduating students, each of whom walked the stage in traditional academic robes, beaming with pride as family members and teachers applauded their success.
From overcoming personal challenges to finding purpose and confidence, each student’s story was a testament to what can happen when education adapts to the learner — not the other way around.
The ceremony concluded with a colorful cultural dance performance followed by the National Anthem, wrapping up the event on a note of patriotism and community celebration.
Families, mentors, and students lingered long after the formal event, sharing hugs, laughter, and memories. For many, it was not just the end of an academic chapter, but the beginning of a hopeful new journey.
This convocation was not merely about certificates — it was about reclaiming dignity, embracing difference, and proving that inclusive education changes lives.
