Motul India Drives Community Wellness with ‘Sehat Ki Samriddhi’ Health Camp in Ayodhya

Ayodhya: Motul India, a premier global manufacturer of high-performance engine and industrial lubricants, successfully conducted a comprehensive healthcare camp in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Organised under its flagship pan-India CSR initiative, ‘Sehat Ki Samriddhi’, the drive aims to deliver accessible preventive medical services directly to auto mechanics and their families, who form the backbone of the nation’s automotive ecosystem.

The Ayodhya camp witnessed enthusiastic participation, delivering vital health check-ups to nearly 205 individuals and distributing over 100 essential health kits. Across its broader footprint, the campaign envisions setting up 108 medical camps across 27 districts nationwide, aiming to impact more than 21,000 beneficiaries.

Highlighting the vision behind the initiative, Nagendra Pai, CEO of Motul India and South Asia, emphasized that the company believes in safeguarding the well-being of the workforce powering India’s automotive sector. He noted that expanding this initiative allows Motul to extend directly accessible preventive healthcare to local mechanics and their families right at their doorstep.

Expressing appreciation for the collaboration, Santanu Mishra, Co-Founder of Smile Foundation, remarked that Sehat Ki Samriddhi exemplifies the meaningful impact created when corporate responsibility aligns with real ground-level needs.

He highlighted that auto mechanics face continuous occupational health hazards, which frequently go unnoticed until they escalate into acute health issues. By deploying doctors, preliminary diagnostics, and essential medications directly to these communities, the program fosters a proactive health-first mindset.

Each health camp provides specialized consultations, blood sugar testing, hemoglobin checks, necessary medications, and first-aid kits. Local Motul distributors and staff actively manage registration and logistics to ensure smooth execution.

Since 2024, Motul has extended medical aid to over 18,300 individuals nationally. The Sehat Ki Samriddhi drive will continue expanding its reach to underserved communities across India through December 2026.
