MUMBAI-Legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray’s 1970 masterpiece, Aranyer Din Ratri (Days and Nights in the Forest), is set for a grand 4K restored re-release. PVR INOX will screen this cinematic gem starting January 9, 2026, across Mumbai, Delhi, and other major metros.
Starring Soumitra Chatterjee and Sharmila Tagore, the film follows four friends on a life-altering forest retreat. This Film Heritage Foundation restoration, which premiered at Cannes 2025, now offers modern cinephiles a chance to experience Ray’s visual genius with crystal-clear clarity.
