Organized a Diwali get-together with families affected by the NTPC expansion project.

Ambedkar Nagar: District Magistrate Mr. Anupam Shukla organized a Diwali get-together with families affected and displaced by the NTPC expansion project at the Collectorate premises in Ambedkar Nagar. The event, held at 6 p.m. today, aimed to provide security, respect, and support to the affected families.

On this occasion, the District Magistrate interacted cordially with the families present and stated that the district administration and police administration are always with them. He assured the families that if they face any problems or difficulties, they can feel free to contact the Collectorate. Thus, he ensured that no family feels neglected.

During the Diwali get-together, the District Magistrate honored the members of the affected families by presenting them with shawls and distributed gifts of utensils, sweets, and chocolates to the children. An atmosphere of harmony, dialogue, and happiness prevailed throughout the event, allowing all present to enjoy the festivities together.

Present on the occasion were Superintendent of Police, Mr. Abhijit R. Shankar, Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue), Dr. Sadanand Gupta, Additional Superintendent of Police (West), Sub-District Magistrate, Tanda, Dr. Shashi Shekhar, Executive Director, NTPC Tanda, Mr. Jaydev Parida, General Manager (Operations & Maintenance), Mr. A.S. Yadav, General Manager (Fuel Management), Mr. Ram Narayan Tripathi, and Head of Human Resources, Mr. Rajneesh Khaitan, along with other officials from NTPC and the district administration.

Thus, this Diwali get-together proved to be a positive experience for the affected families, where they felt the cooperation and support of the administration.
