Nation Building Through Character Development: Vinod’s Message

Lucknow: The auspicious festival of Vijayadashami was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Deendayal Nagar East at Mayur Residency, Mans Vihar, Indira Nagar. As one of the six major events of the RSS, Vijayadashami brought together volunteers from all branches of Deendayal Nagar, who showcased various strength-related performances in full uniform. The event was graced by members of society, who applauded the impressive demonstrations by the volunteers, recognizing the spirit of unity and strength.

The keynote speaker, Shri Vinod Ji, Regional Promotion Chief, highlighted that this Vijayadashami marks the RSS entering its 100th year of service. Emphasizing character development, he stated, “A nation's prosperity relies on the character of its people.” He compared the volunteers to Lord Shiva, explaining that while gods drink nectar, it is Mahadev who drinks poison to protect others. Vinod Ji urged volunteers to embrace this selfless spirit, safeguarding society and the nation, while also advising caution against hidden adversaries. The event saw the presence of prominent RSS leaders and hundreds of volunteers, along with many dignitaries from the community.
