Two Arrested for House Theft in Lucknow
Police arrest two suspects, recover cash and jewelry in Lucknow house burglary case.
Lucknow:According to the police, complainant Swami Sharan, son of Tulsi Ram, a resident of Shyam City, Plot No. 11, Khasra No. 101, Tiwari Pur, Jankipuram, Lucknow, reported that unknown individuals had broken into his house and stolen cash and valuable jewelry. Based on the complaint, Case No. 314/2024 under Section 305(a) BNS was registered against unknown persons, and investigation was assigned to Sub-Inspector Vipin Singh. During the investigation, the team analyzed CCTV footage and gathered information from informants, leading to significant progress in the case.
On October 14, 2024, police arrested two suspects: Sudhir Kashyap (26), son of Kallu, resident of Durgapuram Arjunpurwa, Lakhimpur Kheri, and Ravi Verma (34), son of Hari Om, resident of Shivpuri, Para, Lucknow. The accused were found in possession of INR 1 lakh, stolen cash, and jewelry from the complainant’s house. A Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle (registration number UP32GJ3030) used in the crime was also recovered. Both suspects were presented before the court, and their criminal records are being verified across other districts and police stations.
