LDA Takes Action on Neglected Illegal Constructions
LDA warns officials on delayed responses to illegal construction cases, demands timely action and improvements.

Lucknow: In a Strict review meeting, Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) Vice-Chairman Prathamesh Kumar Criticized officials for failing to submit timely responses in court cases related to illegal constructions. Kumar highlighted that delays in filing responses allow offenders to continue unauthorized activities. He directed zonal officers and engineers to improve their efficiency, ensuring that all pending cases receive responses within a month.
Vice-Chairman Kumar also urged officials to guide residents who unknowingly constructed buildings without approved maps, to regularize their structures by applying for a compounding map. He further instructed them to intensify action against unauthorized multi-story buildings, commercial properties, and row houses, emphasizing prompt enforcement of sealing orders where necessary.
