IFFCO Phulpur Begins Nano DAP (Liquid) Production, Empowering Sustainable Farming

Phulpur. In a significant step toward sustainable agriculture, the Phulpur unit of Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) has successfully commenced the production of Nano DAP (liquid), marking a key milestone in India’s journey toward self-reliance in agriculture and promoting eco-friendly farming practices.

This breakthrough aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat and the national push for organic farming. The newly launched Nano Di-Ammonium Phosphate (Nano DAP) is a result of IFFCO’s advanced research and commitment to innovation, aiming to provide Indian farmers with a cost-effective, efficient, and environmentally friendly fertilizer solution.

Unlike traditional DAP fertilizers, the Nano DAP formulation requires significantly lower quantities while delivering superior results. Its nano-sized particles ensure better nutrient absorption by crops, reduce soil degradation, and contribute to decreasing overall input costs. This not only improves crop yields but also enhances the long-term fertility of agricultural land.

The commencement of Nano DAP production at IFFCO’s Phulpur facility is expected to benefit millions of farmers across Uttar Pradesh and neighboring states. The facility has adopted state-of-the-art technology and global best practices to ensure that the Nano DAP produced here meets international quality standards.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Kudeshia, Senior Executive Director and Head of the Phulpur unit, described the launch of Nano DAP as a revolutionary step in Indian agriculture. He emphasized IFFCO’s commitment to offering sustainable and efficient farming solutions that enhance productivity and reduce costs for farmers. “Nano DAP represents a transformative approach in the way fertilizers are perceived and used. Our focus is to empower farmers with tools that support both yield and soil health,” Kudeshia said.

The launch event was attended by several dignitaries and officials, including Nano GM A.P. Rajendran, Arun Kumar, Vinay Vikki, Shailesh Sherkar, P.C. Mishra, Arvind Chauhan, as well as the President of IFFCO Officers Association Anurag Tiwari and General Secretary Swayam Prakash. Also present were Pankaj Pandey, President of the IFFCO Employees Union, and Vijay Kumar Yadav, General Secretary, alongside the dedicated team of Nano DAP officials and staff.

The introduction of liquid Nano DAP is expected to pave the way for a new era of precision and sustainable agriculture in India. As IFFCO continues to lead the charge in agricultural innovation, this new product is anticipated to play a vital role in improving farmers’ livelihoods while protecting the environment.

With this development, IFFCO once again demonstrates its dedication to innovation, quality, and unwavering support for the farming community—a step that echoes far beyond the fields of Phulpur.
