Prayagraj: A Vigilance Awareness Seminar was organized at the IFCO Phoolpur unit, focusing on the dimensions of vigilance in society, life, and the workplace. The event commenced with the lighting of a lamp by the chief guest, Dr. Jitendra Kumar, Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer (IRTS) of North Central Railway.

Dr. Kumar emphasized that vigilance ensures a systematic, standard, and transparent approach in the workplace. He stated that maintaining integrity is crucial for any organization and that vigilance significantly impacts not only the workplace but also societal norms and lifestyle. He pointed out that preventive vigilance plays a vital role in alerting individuals before lapses in work occur.

Senior Executive Director Sanjay Kudesia highlighted IFCO’s status as the world’s largest cooperative organization, noting its commitment to transparent processes and cashless transactions for payments. Chief Vigilance Officer Ajay Kumar Mishra underscored the department’s role in promoting integrity, honesty, and transparency, while raising awareness against unethical practices and corruption.

The seminar was conducted by Sharad Agnihotri, with a vote of thanks by P.K. Verma. Senior management officials, including General Managers and Department Heads, were present at the event, underscoring IFCO's commitment to a culture of transparency.
