Under the leadership of Yuva Manch State Executive Member E. Ram Bahadur Patel, a large number of students reached the residence of Irrigation Minister Swatantra Dev Singh and raised the issue of immediately advertising the posts of 6404 tube well operators lying vacant in the Irrigation Department.

During the conversation with the private secretary of the Irrigation Minister and other officials, the students were assured that the government was serious about their demands and in front of the students, they called the Chief Engineer of the Irrigation Department and issued necessary guidelines.

Before this, the technical students also met the Chief Engineer (Mechanical) of the Irrigation Department. In the memorandum submitted to the private secretary of Irrigation Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, it has been mentioned that there are 34 thousand government tube wells in the state. In this, out of 18811 created posts of tube well operators, 6404 posts are lying vacant.

Due to this, the smooth operation of government tube wells is being affected and farmers are forced to pay expensive rates for irrigation from private tube wells in some places, due to the non-availability of private tube wells and canals, etc., farmers have to completely depend on monsoon. It has also been informed that the Uttar Pradesh Government has promised to fill more than 14 thousand vacant posts including Tube Well Operator of the Irrigation Department and the details of the said vacant posts have already been received by the Subordinate Services Selection Commission.

In such a situation, there is no need to requisition for the vacant posts afresh. In this regard, in the conversation with the students of the Secretary of Subordinate Services Selection Commission in Pickup Bhawan, he said that as soon as the government directs, the tubewell Operator recruitment process will be started.

On this occasion, Yuva Manch state executive members E. Ram Bahadur Patel, Vidyanand Patel, Shivam Yadav, Dhananjay Yadav, Arun Pratap, Shashikant Patel, Sandeep Nirala, Chandrashekhar, Shivaji Patel, Ashok Kumar, Rahul Singh, Manoj Patel, Shubham Kushwaha, etc. were present.
