Under the auspices of the Kanpur Tampo, Auto, Taxi Joint Front, the officials of various tempo, auto and taxi organizations of Kanpur city are organizing the vehicles to be parked sequentially at the valid auto and tempo stands established by the Kanpur Municipal Corporation and making arrangements for the transportation of passengers and smooth traffic.

In order to prevent the interference of undesirable elements in the operation of vehicles and legitimate stands, while meeting Police Commissioner Mr. Akhil Kumar in the police office and submitting a memorandum, it was suggested that uniforms, name plates and badge numbers should be determined for vehicle drivers, tampon stand operator workers, Consideration should be given to issuing identity cards and determining the operational routes for vehicles, while making a policy for traffic diversion and other changes, coordination should also be established with the institutions of the respective stands.

Organization officials were also requested to convene a seminar with police administration officials. In relation to the points and suggestions mentioned in the memorandum received by the Police Commissioner while assuring the officials of the organization, the Additional Commissioner of Law and Order will coordinate with the Municipal Commissioner, RTO, Traffic and officials of the organizations and ensure their participation as soon as possible.

It was directed that the seminar should be convened and the points and suggestions mentioned in the memorandum given by the officials of the organization should be seriously discussed and a decision should be taken.
