Kanpur Advocates kept the demand for the return of the city of judicial jurisdiction

Kanpur- Kanpur Lawyers Association President Pt. Ravindra Sharma said that considering our struggle since 2013 to return the judicial jurisdiction of Bilhaur Ghatampur in the public interest, on the recommendation of the state government, the Governor issued a gazette dated June 14, 2019, returning the judicial jurisdiction of both the tehsils. Was added to Kanpur city but the gazette was not implemented.

On the instructions of His Excellency the Governor on the reports of our Gazette implementation, first Deputy Secretary Justice Department Arun Kumar Rai then Special Secretary Government Sanjay Kumar Verma sent letters to the Director General High Court Allahabad regarding Gazette implementation but till now the implementation has not happened. Due to this even today the litigants and advocates of both the tehsils are troubled.

While giving a memorandum, Acting General Secretary Ravindra Bhushan Singh said that we request the Chief Justice to send the files of both the tails back to Kanpur Nagar to implement the issued gazette. , After receiving the memorandum addressed to the Chief Justice High Court Allahabad, the District Judge said that we will send your memorandum to the Chief Justice for necessary action.

During this, PK Chaturvedi, Brij Narayan, Nishad, Pawan Awasthi, Sachin Awasthi, Madhur Sahu, Avinash Kushwaha, Abhishek Mishra, Ganesh Shankar Dixit etc. were present.
