Anil Kapoor dedicated Dadasaheb Phalke Award to his family

22-02-2024 . Mumbai. Cinema icon Anil Kapoor was awarded the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024 in the Best Supporting Actor category for his role in Animal. The actor, who was present at the event to receive the honour, dedicated his win to all the parents and children. 

The actor said during his victory speech, "I want to dedicate this award to parents and children everywhere who do their best. We may not understand each other, but the love for family can never be underestimated." Won't let it end."

The actor further added, "Thank you for this award. I would like to thank the entire team of Animal, all the actors and director Sandeep Vanga Reddy. Such was his conviction and passion. We all supported his passion and made Animal Made him what he has become."

Actor Javed Jaffrey, who was hosting the event, praised Anil Kapoor and said how even after a long journey in the industry, Anil treats every project as his first film and gives the same dedication and effort. When Javed asked the megastar what keeps him going, Anil Kapoor said, "What keeps me going is that I love what I do."
