Uttar Pradesh Witnesses Paradigm Shift in Business Culture, PM Modi Declares
In a bold declaration, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a noteworthy statement on Monday, highlighting the transformative shift in Uttar Pradesh's business culture under the BJP's 'double-engine' government. Speaking at the fourth groundbreaking ceremony of the UP Global Investors Summit in Lucknow, Modi took a dig at the opposition, emphasizing the state's evolution from a culture of red tape to a red carpet.
Reflecting on the significant changes observed in the past seven years, Modi remarked, "7-8 years back, we could not even think of such an environment around jobs and investment opportunities in UP. There were crimes and riots everywhere. No one would have believed that we would make UP 'viksit' (developed)."
Pointing out the positive developments, the Prime Minister stated, "It has been 7 years since a double-engine government was formed in UP. In the last 7 years, the 'red tape culture' in the state has been ended, and a 'red carpet culture' has been brought here. In the last 7 years, crime has reduced in UP, and business culture has expanded."
Modi underscored the strides made in creating a conducive environment for business, development, and trust in Uttar Pradesh. He commended the impact of the double-engine government, asserting, "The double-engine government has shown that if there is a true intention for change, nobody can stop it."
The Prime Minister's remarks come as a testament to the state's journey towards development and improved business prospects. Uttar Pradesh, once plagued by crime and bureaucracy, now stands as a symbol of progress and transformation under the visionary leadership of the BJP's 'double-engine' government."
