Lucknow: Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra reviewed the progress of the Swamitva Yojana. In his address, the Chief Secretary gave instructions to get the houses of the remaining villages ready by September 30, 2023, under the Swamitva Yojana. He said that officers and employees need to work proactively to complete the work of the Swamitva Yojana within the stipulated time. The plan should be reviewed on a daily basis, the districts where more work is left should be directed to speed up the work. Officers doing good work should be encouraged. The remaining maps should be obtained by making continuous dialogue and coordination with the Drone Survey of India.

It was told in the meeting that the work of drone survey of all 90,908 villages which could actually be done under the Swamitva Yojana has been completed. Against the maps of 79,023 villages received by the Survey of India, after local investigation, maps of 71,765 villages have been returned to the Survey of India, after which Form-7/Map-2 of 46,384 villages have been prepared by the Survey of India. Finally Form-10 (Gharauni) of 44,693 villages have been prepared. A total of 62,57,436 housewives have been prepared so far.

Out of this, 55,14,969 houses have been distributed till April 24, 2023. Jalaun, Moradabad, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Sambhal, Shamli, Amroha, and Gautam Budh Nagar are included in the top 10 districts by completing more than 96 percent work under the overall work of Swamitva Yojana. 40 percent work of Naveen Khatauni (Real Time Khatauni) has been completed. Additional Chief Secretary Revenue Mr. Sudhir Garg, Commissioner and Secretary Revenue Council Mrs. Manisha Trighatia and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
