Lucknow : In a strategic move marking its expansion into North India, Pune Gas, one of India’s leading players in industrial and commercial gas systems, has inaugurated its seventh Smart Gas Experience Centre in the heart of Delhi. The launch signifies the company’s focused approach toward tapping into the vast potential of Northern India’s hospitality, food service, and industrial sectors.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Pune Gas’ leadership, including Founder & MD Mr. Jay Singh Sampat, Executive Director Mr. Jesal Sampat, Sales Director Mr. Bhaven Udeshi, Projects Director Ms. Radhika Ojha, and members of the North India team.

This new Experience Centre is designed to offer hands-on interaction with the latest gas technologies that emphasize efficiency, safety, and sustainability. It brings Pune Gas closer to its target audience — over 7.12 lakh commercial and industrial LPG users in North India, many of whom still rely on outdated or polluting fuels like diesel and furnace oil.

🔍 Key Highlights of the Delhi Centre:
LPGenius:
Marketed as the world’s first smart LPG system fully developed in India, LPGenius is optimized for use with 47.5 kg LOT (Liquid Off-Take) cylinders, providing a more efficient alternative to traditional 19 kg cylinders. It can deliver 20–30% LPG savings, especially valuable in polluted urban environments like Delhi.

FuelFusion:
A dual-fuel solution allowing diesel generators to operate on a mix of diesel and LPG without expensive reengineering. It supports the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals 7 (Affordable Clean Energy) and 13 (Climate Action) by offering cleaner, hybrid energy options.

LeakCheck:
A sleek, high-precision gas leak detection system ideal for commercial and industrial premises, offering enhanced safety and compliance.

The centre also offers consulting and live demonstrations, helping businesses make informed decisions about transitioning to cleaner, smarter energy solutions.

According to the 2022–23 LPG consumption report, India consumed 30,916 TMT of LPG, but only 16% was used by the commercial and industrial sectors. Many businesses still depend on inefficient fuels, leading to high energy costs and environmental impact.

One recurring problem among North Indian LPG users is gas freezing in cylinders, causing wastage of 3–4 kg per unit. LPGenius directly addresses this by ensuring continuous vaporization, reducing loss and increasing cost efficiency.

Mr. Jay Singh Sampat, Founder and MD of Pune Gas, stated: "Delhi is a natural choice for our expansion given its strategic importance. Our mission is to empower businesses with smart, sustainable energy — and our solutions are already saving ₹1,400 crore annually in fuel costs."

Executive Director Jesal Sampat added: "Energy innovation is our core. These centres bridge the knowledge gap and help industries shift to cleaner, affordable alternatives as costs rise and standards tighten."

With this launch, Pune Gas reinforces its commitment to leading India’s green energy transition, one innovation at a time.
