District-Level Volleyball Championship in Prayagraj
27 teams competed in the District-Level School Volleyball Tournament in Prayagraj, with Sohraon emerging as the winner in two categories.

The tournament's inaugural ceremony was a grand affair, graced by SD Kautilya, General Secretary of Kayastha Pathshala, as the chief guest. He was joined by special guests Dr. P.P. Singh, Principal of Kulbhaskar Inter College, advocate Satyavrat Sahay, and Principal Suryakant Tripathi Nirala. The event began with a captivating traditional folk dance performance by the students of KP Inter College, which mesmerized the audience.
A total of 27 teams participated in the competition, making it a truly vibrant and competitive event. Each match was a display of skill and determination, providing spectators with numerous nail-biting moments.
The final match in the Under-19 boys' category was a particularly intense battle. Sohraon started strong, winning the first set 15-12, but Nagar Uttar made a stunning comeback in the second set, winning 15-10 to level the score. In the decisive third set, Sohraon's team held their nerve and emerged victorious with a 15-11 score, securing the championship title.
Similarly, the Under-14 final was played between Sohraon and Bara. Sohraon once again showcased their dominance, winning both sets with scores of 15-12 and 15-13, and clinching the title in this category as well. The Under-17 final could not be played due to rain, and a mutual decision was made to declare Phulpur and Karchana as joint winners.
The prize distribution ceremony was led by Jitendra Pratap Singh, Joint District School Inspector, who was the chief guest for the occasion. The guests were welcomed by the tournament convener, Principal Dr. Yogendra Singh, while the entire event was skillfully managed by Umesh Khare.
Several sports teachers and coaches from different tehsils were present to support their teams and witness the talent on display, including Buland Pratap Rai, Brijesh Khare, Ali Ahmed, Arun Pandey, Kanhaiya, Arvind, Nitin, Rakesh Srivastava, Brijesh Kumar, and Ashwini Yadav. The referees for the tournament, including Shailendra Pandey, Aditya Singh, Akash Kushwaha, Nikhil Saroj, Satya Patel, Nitesh Tiwari, Chandrajeet Yadav, and Harsh, were highly praised for their excellent work.
